Detailed rules

If anyone types flutter in chat, the topic must change immediately. No questions asked. this leaves room for people to express discomfort within chat and the current conversation. We will immediately redirect to something more upbeat.

There is no space for harmful or hateful conduct

This obviously includes things like racism, homophobia, but encompasses overall shitty behavior or opinions. Don't bully or pick on each other, don't be rude or intentionally cause friction between viewers. If you make me or anyone uncomfortable, you'll be banned. I also do not take lightly to edgy "jokes", I don't typically find it funny and will take it at face value.

I do not claim this is a "safe space"

Here's why: I don't think I'm capable of making such a large claim on this space. I can, however, share that I'm always willing to learn and grow from marginalized communities and I'd love to (kindly) be educated if I am, in fact, doing something harmful. Just know that if there's ever something that needs to be brought up, I'm all ears and willing to listen and learn. If I'm ever calling you by the wrong name, pronouns, etc. I want to be corrected. I want you to be comfortable enough in my space to open up to me if I am doing something that's triggering you, bothering you. While it's never on purpose, that doesn't mean I'm unable of potentially causing harm. I recognize even unintentionally, harm can be done.

We aim to see the best in each other

What I mean is we understand that people have certain lived experiences and may likely not understand nor have intention to do harm. There's nuance to this, but I think it's really important to hear people out and not live in an echo chamber. If what they're saying is intentionally, truly causing harm they will be removed from the space. But I think, to an extent, it's important to have people who have different opinions to you. anyone openly harmful and disrespectful will be permanently removed. But someone who's asking genuine questions, wanting to learn, grow, etc. may be given a second chance.

Please don't tell me what to do

If I want recommendations or advice I'll make it very obvious. Please don't tell me what to do when it comes to my artwork, backseat game, spoil the game for me or direct me. Even if it's in good faith, I'll likely get frustrated with you. If i want actual help with something, I'll say "genuine question" and ask chat if they're able to help me with something. This rule is not included in our mod creation streams! I do want your opinions and ideas then, I'd love to brainstorm ideas with you.

Know that there are some conversations I cannot speak on

Being an immigrant in the United States, there are some subjects that I am unable to openly speak about. Without getting into too much detail, for my own safety, rest assured I am aggressively left in my political beliefs. I will encourage and allow any conversations about politics, human rights, etc. but there are certain things that I am unable to personally speak on. I will not be asking chat to move on from conversations, but my opinions will likely be stifled to protect myself.

This stream is 18+ (preferably 21+) and only for adults

While the content itself is mostly safe for work, I do not discourage certain language or NSFW topics (to an extent, obviously) I also don't want to sit and entertain children or young teenagers. I'm in my 30s and I cannot imagine we would have anything in common. If I find out that you're under the age of eighteen, you will be removed from my space. I don't mind if adults speak about their ages in my chat.

I don't care if you don't believe in something

I talk about witchcraft and my practice pretty openly. I also speak about my experiences as a neurodivergent and queer person. I don't care if you personally do not understand some of these topics, but I simply don't have an interest in arguing or debating my identity, sexuality or personal beliefs/practices with you. It's okay if my space is not for you, you're welcome to leave and find a stream that does have people or content geared more towards your interests. I don't mind conversations about other religions as well, as I'm interested in learning more about these subjects. However, if someone in chat mentions having trauma and finds the conversations triggering, I'll likely move the conversation along to something else. I don't mind if your practice and religious beliefs are different and will always respect that, so long as you respect me.

I don't mind you talking about your stream, commissions or wins

As long as you're not intentionally taking away from my space, I don't mind you speaking about these topics. If I think you're taking advantage of my community or only using the space to benefit you, you get one warning and chance to change up how you speak about things. I'd love to uplift other streamers, mod authors and artists whenever possible!

Respect my personal boundaries

I don't like being called pet names like "babe". Please don't "pick on" me unless I know you well enough to warrant that. Do not talk about subjects around harming or killing animals or humans. Don't bring up shocking or disturbing topics unless it comes from the intention to educate others. Example: educating others about what's going on in Palestine vs. talking about someone's sudden murder, death, etc. I'm a very open AI hater and don't want to argue about this. I can't stop you from enjoying AI, but nothing you can say will change my opinion. I don't need reasons why it's "good" and don't want my community to be encouraged to use it. If you post AI slop in my spaces you will be immediately removed.

Topics and discussions to avoid, in detail

This tab exists because neurodivergent community members said having a visual list of topics to avoid would be helpful.Eating disorder habits: Eating disorders and disordered eating habits, glorifying eating disorder behaviors and culture. body shaming and negative conversations about your body, other peoples bodies, celebrities bodies, etc. are not okay. Light talk of weight loss or weight gain is fine, as long as you aren't going into detail on things like calories or intake.Harm to animals or people: Animal abuse, harm, death, hoarding situations with animals, glorifying puppy mills or hunting animals for sport. The torture of people, death, murder, graphic war details, horrific true crime content in detail. However there is nuance to this, as i do not wish to shy away from speaking on the atrocities going on in other countries.Sexual assault: Sexual assault involving adults or minors, child sexual assault material, true crime cases involving children, anything along those lines should be avoided, no questions asked. Please never bring these topics up in conversation.

Nests

Nests are a smaller communities within the burrow. They are curated groups of like-minded people, similar to that of a guild. Each nest is based off a specific location within Omeitia, their emblem and imagery goes alongside the traits of those areas.There are currently three nests, but as the burrow thrives, so will our nests to accommodate. Members can amass points for their nest in multiple different ways, mostly ways of non-monetary support and joining in on community building events.

Songya forest inhabitants are very curious, creative and playful critters. They are mostly found playing throughout the large, hollowed out oak trees found scattered throughout the forest.

songya farm, or songya forest, is a modpack and series oakcharme is playing on her twitch stream and youtube channel. it was created with the intention of having a very woodland and overgrown aesthetic. luna's modpacks are often themed, this modpack and list is no exception ─ the pack was curated with a very specific aesthetic in mind. the majority of the visual mods are within a medieval, toned-down theme with lots of immersive additions. expansions are to add a touch of whimsy.there is a custom farm map, songya forest created by the very talented pluviophist on nexusmods. if you'd like to commission her for your very own custom map, be sure to check out her ko-fi to see if she has any commission slots open!

what does oak use to create pixel art?

i primarily use pixquare on my ipad, then i export the file(s) as .aseprite and transfer them to my computer.
i'll then continue to edit the work in aseprite. on pixquare i use my apple pencil, on aseprite i just use my mouse.
